Apres Ski
Whilst taking your last run down the slope, your attention will
shift to the other main activity
of skiing - Apres Ski.
Fortunately, in the Sportwelt Amade in Austria, this need is
very well catered for from the moment you reach the bottom of the
run.
At the bottom of every run is a collection of bars where the skiers
congregate at the end of the day to discuss the
stories of the days skiing over a glass of warm Gluwein, whilst
waiting for the regular ski buses or Hotel de Werdenberg's
courtesy bus to take them back to the hotel.
Once at the Hotel de Werdenberg you can relax either over a nice
hot cup of tea, coffee and a slice of cake, or a more stronger
offering from our bar!
All accommodation includes our fantastic three course evening
meal, cooked from fresh ingredients daily (using local ingredients
where ever possible). This includes canapes whilst waiting for
your food, starter, choice of 3 main meals one of which is vegetarian,
dessert and coffee to finish. We have an excellent wine menu featuring
both local wines as well as those you are more familiar with.
After dinner you can either retire to our welcoming bar or lounge,
or on several nights of the week you can participate in our organised
activities.
The activity evenings are subject to availability and demand and
include:

- Night skiing on the slopes of Flachau - twice weekly from
18:30 - 21:45
- Evening toboggan run in Altenmarkt (highly recommended for
some snow fun!) - We will drive you up to a mountain hut where
you can enjoy a few drinks before hurtling down a floodlit toboggan
run.
- Sleigh rides in the pretty town of Filzmoos & Altenmarkt.
Each sleigh ride last two hours and are also available in the
day for those looking for a rest from all the skiing
- Ice skating in Altenmarkt
